Windows 10: Why Can't I connect to my IP cameras?

Why Can't I connect to my IP cameras?

    I have some IP cameras.

And now I find I can't connect to them.

Not from my machine via the internet URL.

    My IP is static.

I can still connect via the LAN. example is 10.0.0.126:98

I get its login screen immediately.

But 101.167.174.247:98 gives me 'unable to connect'.

Does this signify it is found but the handshake goes wrong? Or it is not found at all?

I have forwarded router port 98 to that machine with both ftp and udp protocols.

You must have prior knowledge to choose port 57. Seen my questions about getting IIS going?

That is my MS authentication for the IIS site. Get through that and you'll be directed to your own directory.

There's only three accounts exist that can do that.

Quite a different thing from the IP camera which shouldn't be involved with IIS at all, the way I see it.

The router should direct traffic to port 98 to that camera.

If you manage to see it all's well. Login if you like: guest\guest.

What do you get when you try 101.167.174.247:98 ?

you should get a login screen from the camera.

I've done it. It was my mistake. The port forwarding needs to be set up with port 98 as both wan port and lan port.

    it works now.

    thanks for looking for me.
