Having a networking issue... Ethernet is getting an external IP???

Hi guys, I'm having another issue which strikes me as odd and very weird.

Basically I have enabled ethernet access to my room by plugging in my rooms cable to our network switch in a closet. However, instead of being assigned an internal 10.0.1.x IP, I am getting an external IP. Here's a screenshot of my ipconfig: https://i.imgur.com/H6hVTrm.png. Any suggestions? I'm fairly certain our router is plugged into the modem, and we are assigned an IP from our router. If it helps, our router is an Apple Airport, but I'm not sure that, that would have anything to do with it? Would it? Could Apple really be that dumb as to only allow wifi connections and not ethernet?

I'm out of ideas, and I'm not sure what to do, and it's annoying having to be connected to WiFi to get lan resources like our printer on my desktop.

That IP address appear to belong to the bendbroadband.com domain. A whois lookup on that IP address shows it the be registered by TDS Telecommunications Corporation (Telephone and Data Systems, Inc.). As BendBroadband are Oregon-based this would appear to be your ISP. For some reason your Ethernet seems to be getting the public IP address assigned to your modem by your ISP. Check the DHCP settings on your PC and Apple Airport.

You may find some clues on their Support pages...

...or in the Airport manual. (pdf link for Airport Express)
