Forgot about Route 66, it passes right thru Cuba. I watched Route 66 TV series in'60s and was a fan of it. It was a thrill to drive around. Everything around has Route 66 for name. I was and still am a fan of classic cars and there was dealers of classic cars everywhere. They were sold as they found them, pick them from a farm or ranch and just clean them up. Great climate there, almost no rust. Everybody drives '50s and '60s pickups. Just at that time I was restoring my '66 Mercury M100 pickup in Toronto and needed a windshield for it. Asked around and nobody had parts for '66 Ford (Those were made in Canada as Mercury so they were same), when I asked how come there's none in junkyards they told me that those old pickups get to junkyards only if train runs over them, otherwise they are still driven and nobody wants to sell.
