    No Connections.txt
Device status: This device cannot start. (Code 10)
    This device does not exist.

Note: When this happened, disabling/enabling did not result in anything. I had to restart.

    Connected.txt
Device status: This device is working properly.

Note: After restart, the wi-fi was working.

Some of the start of the report got chopped off.

When you look at Networks around you there is a pattern, channel 1, channel 6 and channel 11. You are on one and while there are no really strong networks around there are lots of number 1's. It might be advantages to move to channel 3.

You said you are using a driver version 15.xxx. Might I suggest trying a driver from intel in the V17.1 range dated the start of 2015. I have a fussy intel 7260 which only runs with Feb 2014.

If you could rerun report only when connected and re post. To get it all try clicking in command window, then CRTL + A. Then review to see if it is all highlighted. Then paste as you did. Really easy to read. When you get it posted lets see what @bro67 has to say about environment.

    Connected (updated).txt

    Here is all of it.

On the Intel link, I have four options when I filter for Windows 10. 3 of them are software applications and one is drivers, all v19. Should I download the driver file?

I would get the 8.1 drivers in the 17.x range. I think you said you already had new drivers and that didn't work. One opinion, and we will see what bro67 says, you are on a easter egg hunt for just the right driver. That is how I solved mine and a least two members on this forum. Again I would move to router to channel 3.

You can also disable IPv6 and kill WiFi sense by going Settings, Network and Internet, Wifi ---- on right side, scroll down. Not sure why but on one member's machine the device would randomly attach to Open network and then lose all Internet connectivity. I didn't see any open networks in your report.

I installed Intel PROSet/Wireless Software for Bluetooth technology for Windows 8.1* 64-bit, Version 17.1.1411.01 (Latest) Date: 2/3/2015. After the restart, I checked the driver version on Intel Centrino and it is 15.16.0.2. The option for rollback is still greyed out. This was the only driver for Windows 8.1. So, did I do something wrong?

Not sure what happen there as the driver didn't bump up to 17.1.xxx

Enter device manager again, find your wireless adapter, right click then left update driver software. In the next window choose browse my computer for driver software, then click on "Let me pick...."

You should see the 17.1 driver.

Likely my last post for a week. Sorry about that.

The main driver did not really change with the installer for the Intel chipset. Some minor changes have been done with how the Intel program that allows you to setup automated connections, create files to share with others that have the same hardware.
