    Win 10 hotspot?

I'm looking at the Asus Strix Z270G mobo that incorporates MU-MIMO wireless functionality. In the description it warns that "Windows 10 does not currently support Wi-Fi hotspot functionality."

I'm not sure what this actually means?

I'm not sure about Windows 10 but in previous versions of Windows, it was possible to use the wifi adapter in your machine to create a wifi hotspot so that you could share the internet connection via wifi. You should be able to find more information if you search the 'net for "virtual router".

Still possible in 10 (provided your adapter/driver supports it) but you can only do it from a command prompt now. I understand it was taken out of the easily found settings for security concerns.

It's still in settings for me. Settings - Network & Internet - Mobile hotspot.
