Is your network Private? In that case you'll see other devices and other will see you.
Here is tutorial by Brink: network-location-set-private-public-windows-10 showing how you change public to private.
Make sure, your network name is the same as that of PC that printer is connected to.
Hello Bro, i made my network private and now i can see my pc on the network on other pcs but when i click on my windows 10 computer (name is BALANI) on other pcs it says "WIndows cannot access \\BALANI
Can anyone help me out?
I also turned network discovery on...
Guess what, i have Kaspersky Total Security installed in my Windows 10 pc, i paused protection and then i was able to access my computer finally on other networks....What do i do so that i can access my windows 10 pc even with Total Security turned on?
You have to allow access to and from your PC in Kaspersky firewall. I'm not familiar with this particular Kaspersky settings, so someone that is may see this thread, or you can ask Kaspersky for help - sure they have kind of user support.
Seems to me, that you have found the culprit and this should be solvable now.
Making your network private is the first step. Now you have to do kind of similar in Kaspersky firewall. Setting your network mask to allowed..
Edit: Check this answer from Kaspersky. Try with local network first.
