    Builds 10158 & 10159 can't access many network shares

I have a number of network shares that Win 10 no longer has permission to access. This only occurred in builds 10158 & 10159. The weird thing is that all the shares that can't be accessed are on a single machine, however, there are shares on that same machine that can still be accessed. I've tried rebooting the Win 10 as well as the machine (Win 7 Ult) with the shares. The Win 10 and the other machine are both members of the same Workgroup.

Any ideas how to fix this? I guess I will try redoing the shares on the Win 7 machine but the other computers on my network can still access the shares, only the Win 10 machine can't.

If you have Avast installed try removing it and rebooting.
    You can reinstall Avast later.

Check both the share and filesystem permissions. I'll bet the ones that work allow "Everyone" and the ones that don't, do not.

You probably installed 10158 with an MSA account, which creates a different user account than what you expect. The quick fix is figure out what your Windows 10 user account name is, then add this to the Windows 7 machine with the same password.

Also, make sure you're not using a PIN password.
