Windows 10: High ping while using WiFi on laptop
High ping while using WiFi on laptop
Hi all! I'm using Windows 10 Pro on my laptop, but occasionally, while I'm playing online games (Team Fortress 2), the ping goes very high (from ~70 to ~190) and stays high for some hours. This is very irritating because the game stutters a lot with more than 150 ping and is barely playable. I have identified that the problem is not with the game, because when I go on "pingtest.net", it too says that my ping is high and my internet grade is C. This problem does not occur on any other devices on the WiFi (Android Phone, iPad). My internet speed is 30 mbps.
Also, my "normal" internet grade on "pingtest.net" is B, while my speed is 30 mbps. Is this normal for a fast connection like mine?
