    Non-existing Homegroup Issue

I'm having some issue with homegroup on my home network.

The main PC that manage share file is my Desktop PC in my room, but I thought it had already joined the homegroup because I have set it up long time ago when windows 10 first came out. So it made me recreate the homegroup but due to my negligence, I have forgotten to write down the password. Afterwards I left the homegroup trying to solve some file sharing issue I was experiencing on my android phone, assuming that I have written the password down and that the other 4 PCs & 2 Laptops were connected to the homegroup. (I'm assuming all smartphones & tablets should not affect the homegroup.) Trying to rejoin the homegroup, I found that I have not written it down, and that all the other PCs/Laptops on my home network were not in the homegroup.

So here's my problem, there is currently no PC/Laptops on the network currently connecting to the Homegroup, and according to many solution I check online, the ghost homegroup should have vanish. I've even deleted all the files within the "c:\windows\serviceProfiles\LocalService\AppData\Roaming\PeerNetworking" folder, and stop the HomegroupProvider and HomegroupListener on all devices. When I turn on my main Desktop PC, the homegroup still exist, and I cannot recreate the homegroup nor can I recover the password.

Can someone advise me on how to recover the password without any PCs/Laptops connected to it or remove the ghost homegroup?

EDIT: Apparently the next day, the ghost homegroup is now gone and I can recreate the homegroup.
