    VPN issues

Hi, I think this has been addressed before but can't find answers. My wifi stopped working. I keep getting this: the remote connection was not made because the name of the remote access server did not resolve. I checked drivers, it's on pptp, I've reset in admin mode...still nothing. Very frustrated. Any ideas. Thank you.

This implies a DNS lookup failure.

Run ipconfig /all and look at the current DNS setting.

Welcome to the forum. Set your DNS to 208.67.220.220 & 208.67.222.222 your DNS isn't resolving domain names

Ok I set the DNS to 208.67.220.220 and 67.222.222. Nothing still. I ran the ipconfig/all. This is what it told me:
    Primary DNS suffix...:
    Node type....:Hybrid
    Ip Routing Enabled....No
    WINS Proxy Enabled....No
Not sure what to do next.
    Thank you

Is that all that comes up with 'ipconfig /all' ? It should have a lot more.

Even in admin mode. I think I would be happy throwing the computer out the window....so frustrating. Lol.

Tell us more about your setup:

Type of computer and how old
Did it have a clean install of Windows 10, or was it an upgrade
Network card (wifi or ethernet cable or USB or?)
    What kind of router
    What kind of ISP
How does the VPN play into this
    Was it working well before
