    Stuck in Airplane Mode

    Hi,

I'm using Windows 10 on a number of systems, Both Dell and Lenovo and after the most recent update, it's been stuck in airplane mode. No matter I try to toggle the physical switch or turn it off within Windows it will go back to airplane mode.
Any ideas on how to fix it?

    Welcome to the TenForums.

Unusually that two different makes had same issue, same time, same environment.

    Please create a restore point.

Please check that any physical switches are enabled, older laptops on side or in front, newer in function keys.

Are these devices wired to a Lan, please unplug and see if behavior changes. Wired lan connections can disable wireless. Haven't seen it disable all.

Have you checked device manager, is the wireless and bluetooth (if applicable) shown as enabled and working. No exclamation marks, etc.

Try to update drivers while in device manager on one device.

If you are absolutely sure it was windows updates then you could try a restore to a point before this occurred. You could also shut off automated driver updates.

    Stop Windows Updating Drivers
    Right click on Windows Start
    Click on Control Panel
    Click on System and Security
    Click on System
    Click on Advance system settings
    Click on Hardware tab
    Click on Device Installation Settings
    Click on No
A menu appears (first time) click Never Install driver software.
You may get a warning. Click the option that says I’ll take care of it (not exact words)

Sounds like you are in some sort of corporate environment, were any group policies changed?
