Can no longer access home network still have access to internet - Wifi
I've never had a problem but all of a sudden my laptop cannot access my network to see other computers and printers through Wi-Fi. Ethernet connection sees the other computers. Internet works fine. It also shows the laptop when I pull up the router settings. The homegroup is a desktop running Windows 7, the laptop is Windows 10. I haven't installed anything new. I did restructure my wires to clean things up. My modem has a port going straight to the wireless router. I'm stumped. Any help greatly appreciated.
- Hopefully this information is useful
Wi-Fi Status shows:
IPv4 Internet
IPv6 No network access
Homegroup says there are none available on this network, just an option to create a new one
Network Diagnostics couldn't identify something
Under view network properties: Gateway and DNS servers are set to the router, Domain name, suffix, and suffix list are
blank (not sure if that is normal). Connectivity is Connected to Internet / Connected to unknown network
Troubleshooting the network gives: Windows Could not Automatically Detect Network's Proxy Settings
I don't have any proxies set up
Under Wi-Fi Status: IPv4 Connectivity - Internet, IP6V Connectivity - No network access
- I've tried
Network reset
Unplugging the router
Made sure IPv6 is enabled, network discovery, and printer discovery
Disabled antivirus
