    @TairikuOkami This is what I get from Malwarebytes it could be a false positive though.

    IP belongs to cloudflare, but it is possible, there is a malicious AD/script involved.

    I don't know why people keep going to unofficial downloads when realtek's website has 10.043.

    +1 I only get drivers from the official sources. No Station Drivers or CrapPedia drivers ever coming near any of my systems.

    Because the download does not always work (email verification).
    Besides some people want just the driver, not the whole installer.

    You can put in any FAKE email address for verification and Realtek will still give you the download.

    Your unofficial driver is 10.6 MB. The official driver from Realtek's website is 10.6 MB. So your second point doesn't work either.

    This whole thread is completely useless. You just have to know that the ONLY drivers that Realtek regularly updates on their official website is their network drivers.
