My Intel Network Adapter randomly locked up and stuck in restarting

I have a critical problem with my Intel Network Adapter. It randomly locked up (i call it frozen) and it shows a yellow exclamation mark in the Ehternet icon. When this happen, i can't disable Network Adapter, i can't uninstall Network Adapter, i can't reinstall Network Adapter until the PC gets restarted. I can still disable other adapters such as Vmware adapter. The device manager froze and the Intel setup also froze and stuck for infinite. I restart my PC and it gets stuck in "restarting" for infinite until i press the reset button.

I just clean installed Windows 10 a week ago. I installed the latest Intel Network Adapter for Win10 64-bit first before installing other programs, and i trying to keep my PC clean asap. I updated BIOS to latest version and load default settings. I have Vmware Workstation, Virtualbox (for Android emulators), Dropbox, and AVG Internet Security installed. I don't know if any of those programs that could affect the Intel Network Adapter. AVG Internet Security doesn't affect it because i have used it for 3 years and i have not got any problems with it.

Event Viewer does not contain useful logs. Is there other way to find full logs?

Please help me and tell me if you have same problem

    Hi,
I suggest you to try the Windows Default Drivers. Do not install Intel Drivers and see if it work.
    Proceed as following:
Go to Device Manager, right Click on Network Adapter, Select uninstall. If there is a box saying "Delete Software for Driver...", check it also.
Go to Program and Features, uninstall Intel Software for Adapter, if it is still there.
    Reboot in Safe Mode
Reboot in Normal Mode and do not install any Driver for Network
Go again to Device Manager and see if Windows Installed Automatically Drivers. If not, choose "Scan for Hardware changes". If it still did not Install any Driver, then right click on Adapter and select "Update Driver " Searching on line.
Now you should have your drivers installed and see if problem is solved.

@Adalwar Thanks very much. I uninstalled the Intel Software for Adapter from Program and Features successfully. I rebooted my computer and it automatically installs default driver. The reason why i installed Intel Network Adapter before because i was testing VPN and find out what caused issues with it. Hopefully it solves the problem.

Uninstall the Software from Program and Features will not remove Intel Driver from System, windows will re-install it again automatically.
If you want to delete the Driver from system and go back to W10 Default Driver, you have to delete the Driver from Device Manager as I said above.

The Yellow Exclamation mark does not mean that the adapter is frozen. It means that you have a limited connection to the Gateway/Router, because it usually is due to a bad lease or IP conflict. If you are running any kind or multiple Anti-Malware, Internet Security software, uninstall all of them and make sure that the Windows Firewall is disabled. The biggest culprit of Limited connections (ie Yellow Exclamation Mark) is third party security software that is nothing more than a warm blanket with a guarantee that you are making a company very rich off of buying something that only protects users from their bad habits, not your computer from the outside.

The only time that you need to do anything for checking files is if you download email attachments or files and want them scanned, check html emails for scripts. When running multiple security products thinking that it will increase the security blanket, it actually ends up causing issues such as you are seeing.

VMWare can also be the culprit. I would not go uninstalling the device and driver for your onboard adapter. Most likely it is related to something that VMWare has kept the Virtual connection alive, which ends up causing the problem that you are seeing, same as what I mentioned before can cause problems.

@Adalwar I mean i uninstalled Intel Driver Software from uninstall programs manager, and it also uninstall the driver. I want to try default driver anyway

@bro67 Ethernet with the Yellow Exclamation that caused the Network Adapter driver to lock up itself (i called it frozen) and makes my PC stuck in restarting is not really normal. If i got bad connection like IP conflict as you said, then i should be able to disable Network Adapter driver and enable it again. I don't really check emails on PC much as i check emails on my phone for safety. My AVG Internet Security automatically scans my download files and warn me if it contains virus. AVG already disabled Windows Firewall and I already disabled Windows Defender and i don't run more than one anti-virus.

For actually Delete Driver itself, you must Delete it first from Device Manager checking the Box "Delete Software....". After that you must go to Program and Features and Delete the Software. The other side round, you will get always the Driver that was installed on System, so it means always the same.
