Win 10 won't connect to wifi on boot-up

I'm running Windows 10, 64-bit, version 1607. When I boot up the system, it doesn't connect to my home network even though I have previously configured the wifi to connecct automatically. I see my network on the list of available networks, but when I try to connect manually, I get a message "can't connect to this network." I then run the Windows wifi troubleshooter, and the repair is successful: I can then use wifi until I shut down the system. But next time I reboot, the same thing happens. Airplane mode is OFF. My home network works normally with other devices, including another laptop running Windows 10 64 bit version 1607. Can anyone help?

Have a look in 'Device Manager > Network adapters' at the properties of your WiFi adapter. Try turning off 'Allow the computer to turn off this device to save power' on its Power Management tab. Beyond that, we'd need to know the make and model of the PC and WiFi adapter to give more specific help.
