Just did the big update 1607...now can't see other PCs on home network

Title pretty much says it. I have browsed some threads here, and haven't found anything specific to this issue, or helpful.

    Anyone have any ideas?

    [EDIT]
After 2-3 diagnostic attempts, the last one came back with some info. Screen shot uploaded.

Also, I have also found since posting that one of my 2 other computers can be reached by Remote Desktop Connection. The other cannot. Neither comes up when browsing for another PC, or in Network in File Explorer.

It is because Microsoft removed Guest access from the OS for security purposes. There is a tutorial in the tutorial section that shows you how to fix it.

I find one tutorial related to the word Guest, here-> Link.

Is that what you are talking about? I can't imagine what having a guest account would have to do with seeing computers on the network. Particularly for the person with admin privileges.

By the way, a bit more info about the problem: Of two other computers, I can get to one if I enter \\ComputerName, but the other I cannot. Both are Windows 10.

It is because Netbios requires it to communicate with the different devices on the network, so that you are able to connect to them. They are basically trying to reinvent the wheel.

There are a lot of people now seeing issues with 1607 that rolled out in the current set of updates last week. Everything was going fine until whatever they did with networking.

Sorry about the Guest wording. It appears that kb318986 and KB3185614 are being the jerks. See the following. networking - Access to network share failed after latest Windows 10 cumulative patch KB3189866 - Super User

I appreciate the input. I went over to that thread, and decided from that thread totry to delete KB3189866, but I don't have that one.

I went into the Windows Credential Manager to try ahother suggestion from the thread. I deleted the credential for the one server I couldn't get to. Interestingly, it is working now.
