    Update.

I have ensured that all my pcs are updated to the latest updates available.

I have setup Windows Credentials on all pcs.

I can now access the files and read and write an copy files from Nova (Win 10 Pro) to my laptop (Win Home) but I cannot access Nova from my laptop, I get a message saying Enter Network Credentials!

Why has Microsoft made setting up a network on Win 10 such a pain? I would go back to XP if that was still supported.
    Hi Walter

Perhaps the Credential is entered wrong ? mis-spelt or wrong case ?

Although mine all work I still get bugged by a "You need Admin Permisssion" sometimes despite the Credentials and the fact I am the Admin on both systems....

Perhaps try it the other way and see if that works ... ie turn off Password Sharing and see what happens , the how too....

Hi Walter , I assume you have given the Correct permissions in the Shares ....ie "Everyone" has full Control ?

Have a look at this Tutorial on Using Computer Management to look at what each Computer is currently sharing ..... under Shared Folders , you can also check the Sessions or Open Files ie what files are in use and what mode .... as you change stuff , keep right clicking and refreshing so the screen is updated.

**Files and Folder show as in READ mode ,unless you actually open a file on the other computer over the network.

I believe in W10 you must set all PC´s to use a Username/Password , otherwise it will arise problems. Make it easy, use one Single Username/Password for all PC´s and log-in with that in every PC. Also, you have the possibility of Saving that "Credentials" so that you do not need to type every time the Username/Password to access PC´s.
Also, in Advanced Sharing Settings, set in All Networks>Advanced Sharing>Turn On Password-Protect-Sharing.
