SOLVED - Update killed wifi and install in background

So I noticed after the anniversary update my HP 23_p114 all in one has no wifi anymore. I disconnect the Ethernet cable and it shows no option to connect via wifi. The device manager doesn't show it either. I tried reinstalling drivers but to no avail. Any thoughts?

It also has decided that I am trying to install office when I already have it installed. When I try to install or uninstall anything it give me an error about the user has started an install, would I like to continue (which does nothing) or abort. Thoughts on that one?

This auto update thing is slowly breaking my machine and it makes me sad

Thanks everyone, I can give more details once I home if need be...

WiFi can be disabled via BIOS, check if it is enabled there.

Laptops also have a key, which enables or disabled WiFi ASAP.
Make sure, you have the latest chipset drivers installed as well.

    Not sure what I did.....

I shut it completely down, unplugged the power and let it sit (I wanted it to think about what it has done lol) plugged it back in and started it up.....now everything is working as it should. Weird!

    Anyway thanks :)
