how do I sync windows 10 calendar with google calendar?

    Hi,

Have been trying for a while to sync windows 10 calendar on my laptop with windows 10 calendar on my wife's laptop. No luck so far.

I have linked both individual windows 10 calendars with our individual google calendars, and events transfer successfully from both windows 10 calendars, through both google calendars, but will not download to the other windows 10 calendar.

    Is that clear?

What I am trying to say is that I can create an event on my windows 10 calendar, it transfers to my google calendar, and then to my wife's google calendar, but it does not load on to my wife's windows 10 calendar. This works both ways.

Help will be very much appreciated. Please note that while I use my laptop a great deal I have little insight into the technicalities. It's a tool!

Hi Breagha and welcome to Tenforums.

Hope I understand your problem correctly.
You can show multiple calendars in Mail and calendar app.
If event is successfully transferred to yours gmail accounts, then just add them (each their own gmail account) to your Mail app and select calendar to show in calendar app.

No need to make events transfer to every account.
Picture below shows multiple calendars from different accounts (I have more of them...) Names are in Slovenian, but you get the picture...

I use a third-party software package called CompanionLink to do this: it costs $50/year but works like a champ. If you really depend on this synchronization, it might be worth checking out. My project manager/admin uses it to keep us (and my working life) in synch.

OK AndreTen - I think I understand what you are saying.

My issue is that I am linking my Windows 10 calendar with my google calendar So far so good. I have also linked my google calendar to my wife's google calendar. And I have linked my wife's google calendar to her windows 10 calendar.

The links work - to an extent. I can post an event on my windows 10 , it appears on my google quickly, and it appears on my wife's google calendar. But it does not transfer from my wife's google to her windows 10 calendar.

The same in reverse: event posted on my wife's windows 10 appears on her google, then my google, but does not appear on my windows 10 calendar.

    Any ideas?

OK guys, I think I've solved it! I just had to give my wife's laptop access to my Google account.

    Very many thanks!
