    WiFi connection issues

    Hey guys,

Trying to help my Mother in law and I'm at my wits end. I don't pretend to have even a 10th of the know-how of some people here but I typically can trouble shoot minor issues. That being said I'm stumped...

My MIL's computer is a yoga 2 11" running Windows 10. All of a sudden after owning it for 5 months it will only connect to certain wifi's. From what I can gather it will connect to any wifi network except the one at her primary home and the vacation house they're renting for the next week. Any others including; my house, Dunkin donuts, Starbucks, free time warner locations, etc... all work without issue.

Her husband tried trouble shooting with negative results. I then gave it my best shot and came up empty as well. He then took it to Best Buy where it was purchased and of course the computer connected instantly to BB's network and the geek squad member said there was no issue. I then spent an hour on the phone with Microsoft trying to have them help me. They were successful in resetting all network settings and got the computer to browse the Internet for about 3 minutes. Then all of a sudden pages would not load.

    Cliffs:

    - Resetting all network settings results in the Internet being reached for about 7 refreshes of any particular website

    - then pages stop loading

-repeating the reset repeats the cycle of working and then not working

-it's almost like all of a sudden something in the computer says "oh wait, I'm not supposed to let you do that"

-computer works everywhere else except at home and vacation rental

-wifi originally said "no internet, secured". Was able to reach a status of "connected, secured" but still will not load webpages

    Thanks in advance!!!!

    Pretty weird!

See if there are relevant errors in the Event Viewer (Windows logs/System). DNS errors for example??
