Internet connection randomly dropping through WiFi connection

    Dear all,
I generally have good WiFI connection, but in two rooms so I am running a TP-Link system for Wifi through my powernet, which provides me with WiFI in our working space. No problems here.
I have been noticing that on my laptop, when I sit in the living space, my internet connection is dropping WITHOUT losing connection to the WiFi network. This makes me reset my adapter but mostly without succes. Sometimes it spontaneously regains internet connectivity. This happens at random (to me). My cell phone doesn't have the same problem, nor does my GF's computer.
I notice that when i go back to the workspace (where wifi is distributed through my TP-link), more often then not I instantly regain connection. Which makes me think this is a problem of IP adress that is different when switching from Wifi through router and Wifi through TP-link?

Here is the runout for my ipconfig /all and

Output for 'netsh wlan show all'

You need to paste the info to a post, not attach to link. It is not the ipconfig /show all that we need. We need the netsh wlan show all.

Your signal is great for both 5ghz & 2.4ghz to your Gateway. 5ghz does not go as far as 2.4ghz. Also if you are using Wireless-ac vs. N, it also has a shorter length for bandwidth. I have mine set to automatically connect with my Wireless A/P. Without knowing what model, version, current firmware installed on your gateway, it can also be a culprit. It is always best to have it up high enough to help with coverage. If channel congestion is causing problems, you may have to use inSSider to help look for possible channel congestion.

    What is inSSider?

Sorry, I am a total noob when it comes to networking issues. So what exactly do you advise me to do solve this problem?
Btw, i never have any trouble on other WiFi networks, only at my home network.

That will not do anything, since the current Intel drivers are dated for the Microsoft ones in 2015. The Intel ones that are dated for Feb. 2016 did not really change much.

Their issue is that they are going to have to dig in a little deeper on their Gateway side to find a good set of 5 ghz channels to try and have a strong connection.

It is a tool that allows you to see all active Access Points and be able to see what the -dbm or strength is, so that you can set your Wifi Access Point to have a strong signal. Think of it like when you are in between two cities that their radio towers overlap around the same assigned signal slot, while trying to tune in with a old analog radio. You have to keep fiddling with the knob. Now the digital radios you do not have to do that, because they will automatically lock out any overlap until you are out of range, then you will have to search for a new channel.

Manage Small WiFi Networks with inSSIDer Office Xirrus is a good alternative that does not cost $20. inSSIDer is well worth paying the money for the personal edition. It comes in handy when you are somewhere and experience issues with signal quality, so you can run it and see if it is you or the hotspot.

My son uses Trendnet Wireless-ac USB adapter with a USB cord to extend it off of his Macbook when he is in his dorm room and dealing with the weak signal they have with the Access point placement in the boys dorms.
