Windows 10: Dial up entries in Rasphone
Dial up entries in Rasphone
Win 10 Home.
I use dial-up networking for work (88 entries)and notice that after my upgrade to Win 10 that my dial-up entries are no longer in alphabetical order. I can go to network connections and there they are, old school way in order. But if you click on one it takes you to the new dial up screen where it shows them all but out of order. You have to scroll through the all to find one. Any thoughts would be appreciated.
I am still seeing unexpected restarts, though not as many as prior to upgrading from 7 to 10. However the event logs around today's restart were are a bumper crop, of which some I have not seen before. I hope someone will look at what I post below...
Recently upgraded to version 10586 through "Windows Update". Since then, whenever I "Shutdown" or "Hibernate" my computer, the Dial up Broadband Protocol goes missing & I've to Set Up again. Any solution?
Here and elsewhere I found how to create a Dial-up, broadband connection (sorry still using this old stuff seeing that I am at a university in China) shortcut placed on the desktop. B4 the shortcut I had to:
-1- click on the R-side of the task bar...
Does anyone know what this is???? I have about 50 of them.
"0000049a Error - Overlap: Duplicate ownership for directory "\??\C:\WINDOWS\bcastdvr" in component Microsoft-Media-Capture-Internal-BroadcastDVR, version 10.0.10586.11, arch amd64,...
There used to be a little circle to click on to add things to "speed dial" , don't know why it's missing now . Seems to just be a "bookmark" option.
