I didn't purchase the router. Shaw came with it and did the installation so never paid attention to what type it was. Where do I find the information? Does it say on the router?

I fit has a model number that can give it us they normally set the speed low so old devices can connect but this often means the super ac is resending all the time if you get right next to the router does it work ok then its showing 80% now which can give problems even somone walking between the pc and router can effect it at that connection

MS has some solutions here WiFi Connection drops out randomly

If I get near the router it does give more connection strength. I can't tell you about drop signals because it happens so randomly. But I will read up that link you posted here. Thanks!

Yup. I am very close to the router and it's 100% still drops signals so will have to keep digging.
