Windows 10: What is this network device?
In my case they are desktop PCs with no bluetooth capability.
This happens all the time to me in my neighborhood, too. The phone is visible but you can't access meaningful properties or interact with it. I believe the poster who indicated this just comes from being discoverable is correct. Here's a screen cap I took just now from the Network listing in File Explorer:
If I try to dig further into properties I get exactly nowhere. To me, that means the network can "see" the phone, but that it's not really connected or interacting with the network.
I'd like to make a shortcut to Device Manager/Network Adapters/Nvidia nforce networking controller.
Or, better still, a batch command to disallow the device from waking the computer.

I have 2 computers on a workgroup network. I don't use Home network.
This was working right before.
Now, the second computer shows up as a media device on the first computer.
Media Steaming is off.
The network page says computer1
So originally I upgraded my mini PCI card and was trying to get that working... It was recognized in the device manager but not the network connections.. I could not see the adapter to use or enable/disable etc despite having the drivers up to date....
