I wiped it cleaned and installed Windows 10 Pro. I go to connect the Ethernet cable and it says "Network cable unplugged".
I've tried updating the drivers, uninstalling and reinstalling the drivers, and even changing the duplex to 100 Mbps Full and Half.
The network adapter is a Marvell Yukon 88E8056 PCI-E Gigabit Ethernet Controller.
Ethernet is an older technology - it usually just works out of the box.
Where are you getting the drivers to re-install ... on a disc?

Windows Update is very good, almost 100%, at supplying drivers that work with Windows.

Try this:
Uninstall the driver in Device Manager
!!!!! Remove software if prompted (might be a checkbox on the dialog box)
Restart
Run Windows Update manually
