Try setting it to Channel 1. Also secure the printer, so that no one can print to it.

I am surprised that it only found one Wifi Hotspot.

Now as for the Broadcom Chipset goes. It has been hard to get good drivers for Windows 10.

If you are going to be with Charter for a while. You should be able to purchase out right your own eMTA if you have their Digital phone service. It would come with both 2G & 5G.

Easier to just build out your own setup like I did. I only have to replace individual parts if something goes out, or in the case of Wifi, I can swap out just the Access Point in my setup.

My pictures of my setup, should be public in my profile. Along with equipment I have.

I have not added a couple of new pieces o gear that are servers in the list.
Personally I would turn off the Charter Wifi and get an Access Point instead that would allow you better speed and you can have better control.

I use the Engenius ECB-350, which is pretty cheap these days. I have the POE injector attached, so that is is powered by our UPS if the power goes out

It is actually a really good business grade A/P at Consumer prices. It can also behave as a Router if you want it to handle all wireless clients on their own DHCP table.

Yes I know what is going on. I have not been online for a while, because I have been buried up to my elbows in getting two systems that are going to be servers up and running.

Also will be getting my two Raspberry Pi's up and running for one to be a Environmental recording device. The other will act as a IFTTT (If This Then That) "Man In The Middle.
