Planning to Reinstall Wi-Fi Driver
I'm planning to try reinstalling my wi-fi driver to see whether that fixes some Internet problems I'm having, but I need some questions answered first. I downloaded "WLAN Driver (Atheros, Realtek, Broadcom, Intel) for Windows 10 (64-bit) - Notebook" from Lenovo, but some of their drivers refuse to install on my Lenovo G50-70 w/W10 even though the download page specifically says that the driver is for Lenovo G50-70s w/W10.
- When reinstalling the wi-fi driver, is it necessary to uninstall the driver inside Device Manager beforehand?
- If I uninstall the driver inside Device Manager and the downloaded driver won't install, will restarting Windows restore the default driver like it does with the audio drivers, and will going back to a restore point restore the driver?
- Is there anything else I need to know?
