Use this tutorial. It was written for Win 7 and Win 8.
Rest assured that it is applicable to windows 10.
I used this tutorial to restore my Network and Volume icons to my system tray on my Win 10 Home.

    http://www.sevenforums.com/tutorials...e-disable.html

    Go to Option Two
    5. To Enable the Network Icon > click the Download button

then follow the step #11 and continue to step #15.
Make sure you restart the computer to complete the process.

NOT solved. Now I have the airplane icon. I hover over the icon and the message is "No internet access. WiFi is off"
I go to "Network and Sharing" and WIFI is ON and I can browse the internet. What's going on?

Settings > Network & Internet > Flight mode > under Flight mode, move the slider to the left to turn it Off.
