    Windows Socket Registry entries missing

Hey, I've been having network issues recently, mainly an inconsistent network connection, and I've noticed that while most of the time it works fine, on certain routers, it will immediately disconnect from the router. Furthermore, when it stays connected and it cannot get Internet, nor ping anything, and I run the troubleshooter, I get the error of "Windows Socket Registry entires missing". I know that this was a well documented bug back a couple months ago, and I'm wondering, has Microsoft just not gotten around to fixing it yet? What's the tried and true solution to this at this point?

Also worthy of note is that my "Connect automatically" settings for Wireless networks are no longer being saved. I vaguely remember hearing this happen to someone else.

Do not worry what the troubleshooter states. It has never worked right from day one. See this tutorial for running sfc /scannow and the Dism fix. DISM - Repair Windows 10 Image - Windows 10 Forums

Hi bro67, thank you for the reply, I've been waiting to get one for awhile now.

I'd already tried sfc /scannow, which didn't return any found corruption.

dism /CheckHealth and dism /ScanHealth do not report any issues either.
