One or more network protocols are missing from this computer error

I have w10, running a static ip address through time warner cable in Ohio. Time warner said they had a problem on their end, ever since then I can't connect to our security cameras. I run a powerline from the house to the office., have reset my computer, modem and wireless router. Still getting the same error - one or more network protocols are missing from this computer. I don't know how to fix this. I tried talking w/ time warner cable - no go!

    Thanks

This seems to be an increasing problem with Windows 10 I have noticed it be asked on the Microsoft forums too
There is one thing you could try but you may need the drivers for your Ethernet after doing it and check you IPv4 settings.
open a command prompt as administrator and type or paste
    Code:
    netsh int ip reset
if all goes well, then the operation should be successful. But if any messages saying "Access denied" comes up, then you'll have to resort to changing a setting in the Windows Registry.

The folder you need to change the permissions on is under HKEY_LOCAL_MACHINE/SYSTEM/CurrentControl*Set/Control/Nsi/{eb004a00-9b1a-11d4-9123*-0050047759bc}/26.

Just right click on the 26 folder and give "Everyone" (the group, that is) full permissions.

One or more network protocols are missing from this computer error-regedit-allow-permission-everyone.png
Then run the netsh command again, and everything should be good!

Reboot the computer and if your Ethernet card no longer shows up in adapter settings you will need the Manufactures drivers to reinstall it. If your network card is visible but not working check your IPv4 settings

    Note   Note
EDIT: Although everything is working for me now when I scan with the trouble-shooter the same message comes up One or more network protocols are missing on this computer, At least for me this solved one problem

I just did a google search for "One or more network protocols are missing on this computer" Windows 10 and there is 1600 results

Many are having the same issue with same message and experiencing networking issues or limited wifi. It is not a Time Warner issue. AT&T sent me a new modem to no avail.

Other threads in this forum discuss the issue without a confirmed result. May want to search above and also google for any further info.

Props to sml for the instructions above, but in my case it did not help.

TL;DR Many are in the same boat. :)

Nothing works! >:/ my Internet will be fantastic after I do a full clean on my computer, but then as soon as something happens or or gets shut down or has to restart or I just restart it in general, my computer does that crap. Everything I've ever read doesn't fix this issue. I've legit tried everything. I've even tried going back to windows 8 and it wouldnt let me. Windows 10 is the spawn of Satan and is acting more like a virus than an OS -.-.

Lost sharing on my Mac Network side today 12/29, Windows side still worked.
I remembered I had Avast update definitions & reboot, in the morning, Sharing unable to connect on my Mac immediately. After reboot, fine, but next time I powered on lost internet.
Uninstalled Avast, regained Internet & Network Sharing.

Re-installed Avast, updated definitions. Internet & network Sharing fine.
