No ethernet after latest Windows 10 update

I no Ethernet, but I do have wireless. Everything was functional on the 9th November, and messed up after the 10 November update. I checked everything, and the pcs running Windows 10 don't have Ethernet but my Windows Server 2012r2 has Ethernet just fine. I had XFINITY check everything on their end. I tried Winsock reset several times but no change.
Any suggestions or ideas? This happened on one of the builds before, and it seemed after a lot of hem- hawing they fixed whatever they did.

Hi, one of many possible ideas.. (hope you've solved this by now).. try the driver you were using before the Nov upgrade. (Maybe you can roll back). The Nov. TH2 upgrade is a MS novelty item, as you know, being akin to a new Windows installation.

A number of similar instances are reported as you've most probably found.

If you need to use a different driver to the one prescribed by MS, you will need to protect it from update (see the tutorial section - link above).

I had the same problem when I upgraded to the latest window build, sorry I can't find the reference number, I had to do a repair on the Ethernet connector which cleared the problem.

Try right clicking on your windows icon, click on system, on the top left click on device manager. In device manger look down the list and click on network adapters. Double click on the wireless card. This will show the device status and if it is working. If its off click the button on bottom right to turn it on. Spent hours and hours looking for this solution! My internet had suddenly stopped working and showed no networks whatsoever and nothing else would detect what was wrong!
