Okay it didn't last long. Some pages load, while others get dns error. I am going back to previous build. See if that fixes it
reverted my work PC to previous build...all is well with the world again.
I was unable to access other computers on my private network. Internet worked okay. Spent about 3 days at looking for problem in 1155 upgrade. Same problems on all 3 of my network PCs, all upgraded to 1155. Finally decided it was possible the problem wasn't with the upgrade, even though the problem started after upgrades. Finally, I disabled my Kaspersky Internet Sequrity 2016 and problem went away. I also set my network to private in Kaspersky firewall settings. After I got a PC working, I activated Kaspersky again and no further problems. Makes me wonder if I had started my PCs in safe mode with internet connections if that would have worked to help identify the problem as other than Windows 10.
I found that installing Bitdefender crippled my internet connection, so I think there might be a general antivirus issue with the new upgrade. I have sent an email to Bitdefender, but have received no response back yet.
I also abandoned the homegroup option and went back to password sharing in my home network and am now able to see and communicate with the other PCs in my home network.... Nothing I have tried has been able to rectify the homegroup debacle of 1155
Well I guess I had deleted previous build, so that was a no go.
Instead on recommendation, I reinstalled my drivers, software for my MSI gs70 stealth laptop. I also noticed a firmware upgrade for the keyboard as well on their site. Even though all the drivers are for Win8.1 x64 , as they haven't made any updates yet for Windows 10, it works perfectly as before.
Just is so strange how everything worked fine in previous build, and had to go through all this for the Threshold 2 build.
But I am happy all is working again. Funny when my wifi wasn't working I had no issues with using playing videos from my other computers on the Network. Well I guess Wifi was connected so it said, but I couldn't access any internet.
In-place upgrade fixes this problem. Uninstall AV/security software, pop disc in, and install overtop current install.
An in-place upgrade is placing your windows 10 disc or flash drive in a PC that is already running Windows 10 and launching the installer from within Windows. It will overwrite your current install with a fresh one. It gives you the option to keep apps/data during the process.
If tou don't have a disc or flash drive of Windows 10, then you cannot do this of course.

Maybe this will help someone. It seems networking issues with the latest update are wide spread.
