You'll restart the machine at least once.
Save any work, close open programs.
Any unsaved work will be lost.

The run command quickly gets you to Network Connections

    WinKey+R ncpa.cpl

After each suggested solution, see the issue is resolved.
If one suggestions fixes the issue, you do NOT have to do any of the other suggestions.

    1. Run the built-in Troubleshooter
Right click the network icon on the Taskbar
      Pick Troubleshoot problems
Select Identify and repair network problems
      Follow instructions in the troubleshooter

    2. Reset networking
      Launch Command Prompt (Admin)
Copy the lines in the code box below
Right click in the Command Prompt window to paste

      Code:
      netsh winsock reset
      netsh int ip reset
      netsh int ipv4 reset
      netsh int ipv6 reset
      ipconfig /renew
      ipconfig /flushdns
      Restart your machine

    3. Disable IPv6
      Open Network Connections
Right click on the affected adapter(s) (Wifi, Ethernet, or each one of them)
      Select Properties
Scroll down to Internet Protocol version 6 (TCP/IPv6)
      Remove the check mark
      Press OK

      Restart your machine

    4. Reinstall TCP/Pv4
      Launch Command Prompt (Admin)
      enter the following commands
      netsh int ipv4 install
      exit

      Restart your machine

    5. Restart Your Network Adapters
      Open Network Connections
Right click the affected adapter(s) (Wifi, Ethernet, or each one of them)
      Pick Disable

      Restart your machine

      Open Network Connections
Right click the affected adapter(s) (Wifi, Ethernet, or each one of them)
      Pick Enable

    6. Uninstall and Reinstall Your Security/Antivirus Software

When you try number 3, also make sure you uncheck (disable) any weird non-Windows protocol. Often antivirus programs install their own protocol to monitor traffic and protect you. But this protocol can malfunction and blocking your access to the router. Just disable it to be on the safe side. Malwares also tend to configure a proxy to redirect traffic. Make sure you disable any proxy server in Internet Options -> Connections -> LAN settings and let your LAN card to connect directly to the internet. Sometimes unchecking/checking the "Automatically detect settings" box also helps.

I just downloaded it again. The file version of setup.exe is 1.0.35.0, which is the same as that of the one I downloaded and installed on 14 May 2016.

When I used Windows 7 driver, the following problem arose.

Do I have to try them when I can access the Internet although protocols are missing?

Yes, to resolve the "protocols are missing" problem. Just save a system restore state first, just in case. If anything goes wrong you can return to this state and you'll be OK

If I disable TCP/IPv4 and TCP/IPv6, the 'protocols are missing' problem disappears, but the following problem appears.
"There might be a problem with the driver for the Ethernet adapter."
If I fix this problem, the 'protocols are missing' problem comes back.

Then probably the TCP/IP protocol is not installed properly or corrupt. See earlier posts in this thread how to reinstall it or how to import the relevant registry settings from a working system.
