All my cables are cat6 on everything I have connected to my router, modem, and computers. I have no problem with 1gbps connections and speed. Changed all my cables long time ago to cat6 Cost a little more, but well worth the money.
Think the guys on here are 100% right about maybe its your cables. Just my 2cents on this. :)

I use Cat-5e jumpers and wiring in my house. No issues with it. I do keep a loopback tester that if a cable may show issues, I use it to see if I have a bad one or not.

I have gotten bad cables out of the packaging. I order all of my jumpers through monoprice.com and never have any issues. Wiring I pick up 100' packages at either Menard's or Lowe's and never have had any issues at all with it.

Unless you plan on watching 4K/UHD on a server in your home. You will not see any difference between Cat-5e or Cat-6 for regular web browsing or network.

The connectors on the end of the cable also make a difference. Everything has to be higher grade stuff to get a 1 Gbps connection. I use solid copper cat 6 wire and three piece cat 6 connectors:

I was surprised, not even just a 6' patch cable made with cheap stuff will do 1 Gbps.

The huawei HG8245 is capable of 1 Gbps connections the manual states that it is autosense 10/100/1000 Mbps .

My guess would be a faulty or damaged lan cable the same thing happened to me but it was connecting at 10 Mbps, I replaced it with another cat5E and the connection went to 1 Gbps

im already buy 5m cat6 2 pcs but still same stuck at 100mbps
    -_-
im using win 10 pro 64bit

You can try going to the manufacturer's website for the network adapter card/chip in your computer and install the latest driver they have, regardless of if it is older or for Windows 7/8/8.1.

Check your router's settings. With many routes you can manually select the operating mode of the lan ports (100 MB/s or Gigabit lan). Sometimes it's called power saving mode.

Hate to put a downer in here,
but the 100mb speed shown in OP post is what his ISP is supplying,
Its got nothing to do with the fact he's Gig capable,
Guess what mine is see screenshot

Sorry Roy, that is his lan speed not his DSL speed.

    Here's mine and yours, compare.

You would be mistaken. What you are showing in your screenshot is your WiFi connection to your router and has nothing to do with what your ISP is providing (except that your internet connection will be limited by the WiFi speed if your ISP is pushing a higher speed.)

If you want to know what your ISP is providing, you need to use a speed test like https://www.speedtest.net

This is my connection between my computer and router:

This is the speed my ISP is providing:

The fact he is getting straight 100 to me seems like his ISP is providing more, but some device or cable along the way is keeping it lower. I agree with whoever said it earlier, you need to update the LAN driver. Never use the old DVD drivers, go online to your motherboard's website to download the newest Windows 10 drivers. Good news is usually older OS LAN drivers work across OSes, just not across bitness (so you could potentially use Win 7 or 8 drivers, even Vista perhaps; just have to make sure it is 32 or 64bit to match your OS).

If it has the Win10 driver, use it. If not, use the Newest OS it does have. You might want to disable automatic device installation (in case Windows decides to mess with it after you update), but that is your decision.

*EDIT Wow, Navy said it first, guess I shouldn't skim through those posts
