    No internet access after update to Windows 10


    I have just completed my update from Windows 7 to Windows 10.
    I have established my internet connection, I can send and receive emails but I have no web access.
    I have eliminated any network issues as my Macs all work fine, my iPad and iPhone all work correctly but not on my Windows PC.
    please help

    Check for Windows 10 or Windows 8 drivers at the OEM's site. It could be you need the correct Ethernet/WLAN drivers.

    The Cisco VPN issue was behind this for me. No network adapter available.
    Some people are reverting to win8.1 , uninstalling Cisco/VPN then re-upgrading.

    A simpler solution was:

    Try this command as the first command instead. (no /va)

    reg delete HKCR\CLSID\{988248f3-a1ad-49bf-9170-676cbbc36ba3} /f

    THEN run

    netcfg -v -u dni_dne



    Hopefully this will help you. This has helped a few others.
