    Can't delete folder on NAS


    Hello,

    I have a WDMyCloud NAS drive for some time now, and all was fine until a few weeks ago when I upgraded my PC to Windows 10. Since then the same problem happened twice: a folder on it becomes read only, so it is impossible to create sub folders or delete them. I can delete all the files in that tree, but the folders, even when empty, van't be deleted. I checked the attributes of those folders and they are marked as read-only, but so are other folders that behave normally. Any idea as to how to remove them and why the are locked in the first place?

    Try using Winscp to delete the folder as root. WinSCP :: Official Site :: Free SFTP and FTP client for Windows

Hi, Macrium takes up 162MB in my Program Files folder, yet I have the above mentioned folder in the downloads folder. What is it, and can it be safely deleted? I am a bit puzzled. :confused:

So I basically delete a folder, on my Disk D, and it doesn't vanish, it stays there empty and when I click on it, it says "Folder not accessible access is denied". It's driving me crazy cause sometimes even a explorer.exe restart won't fix....
