NAS USB CORRUPTING (Windows Version 22H2)

I have a Home LAN featuring 2 x PC’s running Win10-Pro (Version 22H2) that each access a NAS USB Thumb Drive on a Archer V2100v Modem Router for sharing various files that are always used by bother Users.

However, since installing the Archer Modem/Router (previously a Broadcom supplied by iiNet) I am encountering a constant problem whereby the NAS cannot be accessed from one of the PC’s due to corrupted files. Strangely, the other PC can access the files and it does not report any error. However, if I dismount the NAS and run it through the USB repair process it then fine for around 1 month until the one specific or same PC cannot access the NAS whilst the other is OK. The NAS is mapped as drive Z: on the network and when the error occurs the relevant PC reports “1450: "Insufficient system resources exist to complete the requested service".

The process of dismounting the USB Drive then repairing is then repeated until the problem re-emerges – usually approximately 1-2 months later.

I have checked everything in Device Manger and all items have up to date drivers and there are no errors shown on any devices including those that are hidden. I have also run routines such as Dism /Online /Cleanup-Image /RestoreHealth and SFC /SCANNOW but the persists. Have also spent many hours investigating the various solutions found on the Web but the problem remains.

As this same problem never occurred when running the Broadcom Modem/Router with NAS shared drive, the inclination is to think it might be a Router problem but if so it seems strange that one PC is not affected. For this reason I am leaning toward the one PC as the possible issue. All devices are formatted as NTFS including the NAS thumb drive.

Has anyone encountered a similar problem or does anyone have possible solutions that I haven’t tried as yet. The issue is that the problem only occurs on my wife’s PC and she have zero IT knowledge so it basically grounds her every time it occurs.

I have an 8TB Buffalo LinkStation NAS drive connected to my Router via Ethernet cable running 2 x 4TB drives as RAID 1 for 4TB total storage and can Map the Public folder I created on it from any computer that has a connection to the Router whether Wired or Wireless/Wi-Fi. I haven't tried the USB port on the NAS device but did use the USB port on the Router a couple times, didn't see any corruption of files.
