I assume you are NOT using dialup so for some reason it thinks your are? Open a cmd prompt type ipconfig/all post results

It started when I tried to log into my router. I couldn't get into it at all.The times I did, it asked for the serial number and 2 security questions which I set and it said it was diasabled. The netgear Techincian couldn't help unless I paid £85. Last night I tried an old laptopn and used the browser there and it took me straight to the section where I inputted the name and password and got it. I ensured that the password and security questions were retyped and then save and exited. I then went back to my pc desktop did the same ting again and it wouldn't let me in. I was wondering if it might be my bitdefender firewall or Malwarebytes preventing me access as the other laptop doesn't have then loaded into it. Anyway, thank you for your help in this matter. I have done 3 trace alerts to ensure I get a best out of 3 for both. Hope they are helpful to you.

You have a VPN that can stop it and firewall anti virus. Often router logins run JavaScript which some AV don't like

No vpn unless I log in to it. Never had issues with antivirus before I made a guest log in to the web browser with out any extensions etc and it logged into my router without issue. Tried on my account and same problem. Hmmm

Have you tried with a different browser?
Not sure it will make any difference but worth a try to see if that helps.
