your connection was interrupted a network change was detected

If this doesn't stop I'm going to end up in a mental institution. I can't download anything I can't upload anything to any website because I keep getting the error your connection was interrupted a network change was detected. I can't find a solution online i've tried everything that they suggest i'm in the process of trying to update my network adapters. That's another goose chase trying to find the ones that I have. Qualcomm does not have a site that you can download drivers from. Realtek the drivers on there are all older than what I have. I'm getting screwed Every Which Way I turn.
These are the drivers I have Qualcomm QCA9565 802.11b/g/n Wireless Adapter 5/2019
realtek PCIe family controller 10/2022. I can see it happening I look at the icons on the taskbar one minute the wireless icon shows a few minutes later it shows the globe with no internet access and then the ethernet icon lights up. I forgot to mention that I have an ethernet cable. When I tried to download a file it stops cold it says Network failure. When I go to open a new tab sometimes it says I think it's either your connection was interrupted or a network change was detected I don't remember which one it is if anybody can help me I would greatly appreciate it
does ethernet have its own network adapter? how fo i know wich one it is?

'Ethernet' and 'Wireless' are different hardware network adapters.

If you open Device Manager then you should see both. For example:
your connection was interrupted a network change was detected-device_manager-network_adapters1.png

It's not clear from your 'My Computer' specs but it looks like you may have a Dell Inspiron 15-3565 laptop. Dell released many, many variants of this model with different processors and graphics adapters. However, Windows should be able to correctly identify and add the correct drivers for both ethernet and wireless adapters without you having to try to download any yourself.

If you are using an ethernet cable and Windows suddenly swaps from an 'ethernet' to 'wireless connection then I would check three things first:

    1. Device Manager (right-click on Start and choose Device Manager) to check there are no errors or yellow triangles against either of the network adapters.

    2. Test the ethernet cable by substituting it with another ethernet cable and checking that the locking pegs on each connector hold the connectors firmly into the ports at each end.

    3. Right-click on Start then choose Windows PowerShell (or Windows PowerShell (Admin)). When the console opens, copy/paste/type the following PowerShell command - Get-NetAdapter - then press the ENTER/RETURN key... then post a screenshot or text of the results. For example:
your connection was interrupted a network change was detected-powershell_get-netadapter.png

This will show the exact names of the adapters, which is connected and whether for some reason the ifIndex of each is the same (which could cause Windows to be indecisive about which adapter to prioritise).

    Hope this helps...

Qualcomm stopped providing driver downloads several years ago after they'd signed up to the scheme that makes them available through Windows update.
They still provide them to Dell & Dell still provide them to you through Dell Drivers & downloads where you will also find a driver for your Ethernet network adapter.
While you're there, check for Bios updates. You can see your current Bios version in the first page ["System summary"] of the response to the command msinfo32 [which can be run in a Cmd or a PS window].

I think your description says that it's the WiFi connection that fails.
Does that mean that your Ethernet connection then allows you to complete the download?

    Correction

I SAID...... I can see it happening I look at the icons on the taskbar one minute the wireless icon shows a few minutes later it shows the globe with no internet access and then the ethernet icon lights up.
What is happening is the wireless isnt coming on at all I disabled it, the internet is losing connection for a few seconds, alternates between the ethernet sybol and the globe symbol..no internet. happens so often That if I have a download in progress to download stops it says field Network and sometimes I can resume it sounds like I can't, I can resume it a few times but then a minute or so later it'll fail again and again and then finally it gives me this message Failed - Unknown server error. Please try again, or contact the server administrator. Whatsoever where's the server who is he I tried resetting the DNS ip config all that crap flush DNS reset the reset windsock or whatever it is the one you do on the,nd prompt you know it's still doing I got a brand new ethernet cable a cat sex a fast one so I don't know what the hell to do i'm going to read over your response I'm going to try them thank you
Windows should be able to correctly identify and add the correct drivers for both ethernet and wireless adapters without you having to try to download any yourself. I TRIED UPDATING DRIVERS ON DEVICE MANAGER, NO LUCK SAID I HAD LATEST DRIVERS THAT SITE IS A JOKE I FINALLY FOUND THE ETHERNET DRIVER IS REALTEK. I HAVE DONE TO THEIR SITE LOOKING FOR DRIVERS MANY TIMES THE UMBERS AND MODELS ARE ALL NEW I CANT FIND WHAT I NEED. I RAN NETWORK TROUBE SHOOER IT COULDNT FIMD ANYTHING. I CALLED XFINITY MY ISP THEY GAVEME A NEW ROUTER 3 MONTHS AGO THEY RAN DIAGNOSTIC TESTS FOUND NOTHING SAID IT MY DEVICE CAUSING IT. YES THATS THE LAPTOP I HAVE HOW DID YOU KNOW? I UPGRDED RAM TO 32GB FEW MONTHS AGO.

I went searching for a new ethernet driver and I found one on Dell and it said the date is 2024 my old one is 2022 I downloaded it and I look at the date it's 2013 what the heck is going on i'm going to get the old one back

    It may be aggressive enery-saving.

    1. Right-click on Start and choose Device Manager then right-click on your Ethernet network adapter and select Properties.

    2. When the Properties dialog appears, select the Power Management tab and remove any tick from the top checkbox. For example:
your connection was interrupted a network change was detected-ethernet_device_powersaving.png

    3. OK the change then close Device Manager and restart.

    Let us know the result.

    Hope this helps...

    Good screenshots... thank you.

The first screenshot shows that your Wireless adapter is not disabled as you thought... Up means that it's active. Try this:

    1. Right-click on Start and select Windows PowerShell (Admin).

    2. When the console opens, copy/paste or type the following command then press ENTER/RETURN:
    Code:
    Disable-NetAdapter -Name "Wi-Fi"

This should disable the Wireless adapter, meaning that the Ethernet adapter (with no power-saving) will be chosen instead.

    Hope this helps...

Can you post another screenshot of the results after running Get-NetAdapter in a PowerShell console?

(It's 4 am here and I need some sleep so I won't visit this again for many hours.)
