Transfer Photos & Videos from Google Photos to PC

Looking the fastest method to transfer all media files from Google Photos directly to my PC. I assume that would be by usb?

When I plug in, I get this

Transfer Photos & Videos from Google Drive to PC-transfer-media.jpg

I don't know how to proceed. By "device", it's referring to my phone? When I plug in, I don't get a phone prompt to allow transfers. That's Onedrive related. I want to move Google Photos.

    Hello,

When you connect the USB immediately watch for a popup window on your phone asking you for permission to connect, I think it the second one on the list you will choose. If you don't see the popup, unplug and re-plug the USB in to reinitialize the connection. If that's not it, report back.

When the initial prompt on the desktop came up, I think I chose something related to transferring files. That probably needs to be undone, so I can start over, but I can't find that setting.

Did you try clicking on "Learn More" shown in the pic in your first post?

First plug in the USB cable that was supplied with your cellphone into the computer, then into your phone. A small popup windows will appear at the bottom of the phone screen, choose option #2 to transfer photos.

On the computer, it may ask you which device you want to use, select "Import photos and videos photos'.

You should now see the photos window. Choose the photos you want to add, either all or one by one. Then click on 'Add', Import window pops up.

Choose a folder or create a folder, tap Import.
