Kindle Fire - Map Network Drive

Hi. I have a Kindle Fire with X-plore file manager installed on it. X-plore includes 'wifi sharing', LAN, FTP, DLNA and 'SSH File Transfer'. Despite all that, I've been unable to find the Kindle using Map Network Drive. Should it be possible? Thanks.

Not only does your Windows 10 device have to find your Kindle Fire via your network but it also has to understand the endpoint filesystem, in this case Amazon's Android-based Fire OS, in order to map to a remote resource.

I'm happy to be proved wrong but... whilst Windows can - with help - understand a Linux filesystem (using Samba file/print serving), I've heard nothing about it understanding an Android filesystem yet.

    Makes sense. Thank you.
