Why did the new version of BitComet mess things up?

I have 3 laptops:
1. laptop aaa has BitComet version 1.98 and I use BitComet 32 bit
2. laptop bbb has BitComet version 1.98 and I use BitComet 32 bit
3. laptop ccc has BitComet version 2.04 and I use BitComet 64 bit

I have a crappy 15 Mbps ADSL internet and I have an ADSL router. I moved to live in area which has no fiber internet so I have to use ADSL. Everything was working perfectly in BitComet on all the laptops and DHT is disabled in all of them and also the upload/download speed was set to unlimited in all the laptops. I used BitComet a lot for months and there were no issues.

I installed BitComet version 2.06 on laptop aaa and DHT was disabled in it. I downloaded a torrent. Suddenly, the internet on all the other devices at home got cut. I closed BitComet on laptop aaa and the internet came back on all the devices. Thus it looks like version 2.06 put too much pressure on the internet and my router couldn't take it. I put version 2.04 on laptop aaa and I downloaded a different torrent. The internet on all the other devices at home got cut. I put back version 1.98 on laptop aaa and I downloaded a different torrent. The internet on all the other devices at home got cut. Also I ran version 1.98 on laptop bbb and I downloaded a different torrent. The internet on all the other devices at home got cut. I ran BitComet on one device at a time while I was testing.

In the end I limited the download\upload speed on laptop aaa and I used this https://i.imgur.com/c0exgPB.jpeg setting and I downloaded a torrent. The internet remained on all the other devices at home. However, sometimes the internet on another a device can cut if I run BitComet on a laptop and it can happen suddenly.

By internet gets cut on other devices I mean it sometimes says connected without internet on another device. Sometimes it says that there is internet on the other device but it's very slow and if I try to open a website or run YouTube then it gets stuck on loading.

Btw if I want to download something in my web browser and I copy the download link and I paste the link in BitComet and I do the download in BitComet then the internet doesn't cut on other devices. The internet only cuts on other devices if I download a torrent in BitComet.

Why did running version 2.06 put too much pressure on the internet? Before everything was working perfectly when the upload/download speed was set to unlimited in all the laptops. Now for an unknown reason my router doesn't work that well with BitComet and I have to limit the download speed in BitComet to a low speed like between 500 kb/s to 700 kb/s. The weird thing is if I didn't try to use version 2.06 then things would have stayed as they are and there would have been no problems using unlimited upload/download speed in BitComet. That makes no sense.

if you have bitcomet set to unlimited then it will take all the bandwidth which means if you are downloading over a p2p connection then it will DC the other computers because that one computer is stealing all the bandwidth. p2p connection are defined by the speed of connections so if they are fast connections then you can saturate a network easily.

The reason it does not result in the same outcome when you paste a download link from a website online is because that the web is shaped. Providers, Websites and Datacenters limit upload and download speeds on their ends so that no one connection uses up all the bandwidth.

if we were all able to connect to each other like we are but everyone was allowed to be unlimited then it would have a cancel effect that means no one can do anything because there is not enough bandwidth to support that.
Who ever gets to the front of the line will hog all the resources but the infrastructure itself would choke because there is just to much strain going on.

Like take this website for example, if we could all connect here at unlimited speeds then it would be like dial up as a inverse effect but the actual server will probably start wigging out and having issues, refusing connection and just overall probably go mia because its getting hammered.
