Issues with the Wan Mini Ports

Okay, so here is the background. I recently acquired a HP G6000, now I know this is an old laptop, and some will say just scrap it, but I like old laptops, and given them a new lease of life.

Right so I know the original OS, was Windows Vista Home Premium, and was running fine except the wireless card was not being found just orange light.
Viewing the system info, it's showing the Wan Miniports as not available even though device manager shows installed and working.

I have now upgraded OS to Windows 10 Pro, and all is working but still unable to get the wireless card running, even after replacing the wireless card. The only card showing any errors is the Microsoft Wi-Fi Direct Virtual Adapter, but I have uninstalled and reinstalled several times, but no joy.

As I said this issue is not being caused by upgrading to Windows 10, as it was the same when running on Vista.

Thanks, Samuri for picking up my thread. Yes, I was aware, it's the software I am trying to find to run the Wi-Fi card.

So you need a driver for it to make it work

As the hardware does not show in the device manager, how do I add a driver?

There is no sign of the hardware, even I check hidden hardware. As I mentioned at the start this is not only in Windows 10, but also in Windows Vista?

It's Wi-Fi card, as I said I replace the card to confirm it was not the card at fault, also removed the card rebooted the laptop and the switched off and then reseated the car and booted up again nothing.

The original card was a Broadcom BCM94311MCGHP3 and I then purchased as Atheros AR5BXB63. Finding suitable drivers is not difficult, but if the hardware is not visible... That is where it is difficult
