Old but persistent network issues PC Visibility

I have always had issues with Win10 networking.

This has been a recurring problem where all computers are shared but only show up on some of the network PC. I have tried duplicating settings but even when all are set with identical settings, some refuse to show up on some other of the 4 PC on network.

Previously mapped drives will work okay even though the host pcs won't show up in network list. But until I can view drives I cannot map any others.

All can see my gateway and Roku device which is useless to me*. LOL

    None see themselves

    1 can see none*
2 can see all others but not itself*
    3 can see none*
4 is not functional right now. irrelevant

All running current Win 10. 22H2

Is there any third party utility to help manage his issue? Microsoft does not seem very reliable when it comes to network configuration. Too many settings in too many different places make it confusing and hard to trouble shoot.

Discovery on. SMB on etc. Network settings same.

    Thanks'

Hi, nothing easy or simple - or necessarily reliable about it.. once it's set up and working, fine.. but I only have 2 PCs.

Check lists: please see the tutorial and the check list mentioned here:
Why is Windows Sharing so problemactic

Of course there's also nearby sharing.. (Bluetooth based).

Note that SMB1 should not be fully enabled as all are Win 10. If you do, you will have the master browser running, and that can delay a device added to the network being 'seen' for more than 20 mins. (Also SMB1 is a security risk).
