Internet speeds are FAST! YouTube is SLOOOOW...

This is something that was never an issue but in the last two weeks is a persistent problem. My last Speedtest.net result yesterday was 965 Mbps/24.3 Mbps.

I changed DNS servers to Google. I flushed my dns. And it's still super laggy.

    Anyone have ideas?

    ps. How bout' them packers?

Only some thoughts come to mind, one is that YouTube doesn't like ad blockers and the other is that YouTube wants people to subscribe.

    That was my first thought.

Like I said that thought about the Ad Blockers but I got caught up on the 50 solutions for this problem out there.
Problem solved. I can run uBlock Origin but not ABP.

I think Vinny Barbarino said it best: I'm so confused - YouTube

    Using Firefox?

    Never mind, problem is solved.

Yeah, ADB is OLD school! uBlock Origin or even NextDNS is the way to go.

I don't see any forced Ads in YouStupid. I fixed that crap right quick and in a hell of a hurry. LOL!

Okay, then it's not Google being browser racist then. I believe at a time they were and made Firefox browsers load like crap. Not sure if they (Google) are still pulling those shenanigans or not.

(Boy, how I wish I was in Florida right now because it's freaking -6°F right now)!

It certainly wouldn't surprise me if they did.

I'm originally from Wisconsin. My buddy up there is in a serious deep freeze.

Strange. I have uBlock Origin & ABP. I turned off ABP & YT was back to normal. uBlock Origin seems to have no effect atm. The stupid message they had been putting on the site that "Ad Blockers are not allowed" backfired on them. I strongly doubt it that they just threw their hands up and said, "ok. you win." lol
