How to proceed with false File already exist for Save As?

How to proceed with File already exist (as per Save As Dialogue Message) but it is not there? do I need to verify with Windows Explorer before Saving?
I need help to know if I should continue Save As when Dialog Box reports File Already Exists but it is not there as per Windows Explorer.

If I do not counter check Save As Dialogue Box with Windows Explorer, I would be misled this File is already saved.

This Save Location is a Network Drive which I need to be very careful with any Action.

If you don't want to overwrite what is potentially there and hidden just give a new name to your file. I cant work out why screen snipping is mentioned in your flow chart if you're just saving a file?

As you have already admitted in one of your many recent posts, your queries are about your corporate work environment.

Have you approached your corporate environment's IT support team regarding your many queries?

    If not, why not?

Why pick up a phone when you can wait days for help? I'm guessing IT would give him a vasectomy.

I know the problem - corporate IT intransigence, apathy and stubbornness. I ran into it myself when I first broached the idea of automation using AutoHotkey... and I was a senior officer within IT. So, so glad I'm now retired.

Solution is to close and reopen Save As Dialogue Box

This hopefully helps those who needs to be careful about modifying Network Drive Contents.
My interim solution is whenever Dialogue Box does not seem to show latest Folder Content, I close and re-opens same Dialogue Box.
    I believe:
    (1) this is better than choosing to overwrite existing option suggested by Save As Dialogue Box which shows out-dated folder Information.
    (2) future Windows Update will fix Save As Dialogue Box to show up to date Folder Information.

Maybe this is what others called "Skunk Work"?

Paranoia is another term. Stop trying to fix something beyond your control, stop trying to circumvent safeguards beyond your remit.

Word Formula Automation Output to Network Drive minimise Previous Vers

My Use Case is when an update (occasionally) is required, I often may not be able to run automation immediately; my problem then becomes a file with correct name may be in a dedicated Network Drive Folder, but I am unsure whether it has been updated.

Since visual check is error-prone due to person names that I am not familiar with, rerun of my automation seems preferrable. However, this Network Drive Folder is not meant for my personal workspace, should I not minimize saving File actions? because each save will be recorded in the Previous Versions list (a Property of Network Drive Folder).

When my automation runs monthly, I choose its output file to be in the Network Drive Folder rather than my local location because more often than not, there is no people changing jobs name (therefore update is very infrequent).

Is there a codeless solution to help above?
