Game lags, lots of wifi issues

So this has been going for a while now. Every time I play a game I lag. Even on ethernet cable. Furthermore download/upload speeds are horrible. At one point it reached below 10mbps without anyone using wifi. Keep in mind this does not happen for other devices and for other devices upload/download speeds are what they should be, its just this device that has slow upload/download speeds so its not the issue from router. Furthermore on steam/epic games even browser from time to time cant exceed upload/download speeds of 7mbps for some reason, and I have not set a cap on it. Any advice would be great.

Drivers are at their latest update according to device manager

Current laptop is Lenovo Legion running on Windows 10

Have you looked at this Windows is Taking Your Bandwidth | Let's Fix It! - YouTube
    MUO...

By default Windows 10 limits your bandwidth by 80%! There's a setting that needs to be changed every time on a new fresh Windows 10/11 installation.

There are 2 options. If you've got Pro version or higher go to Start-->Run-->gpedit.msc This opens the Group Policy Editor.
Computer Configuration > Administrative Templates > Network > QoS Packet Scheduler. Press Enabled and in the Bandwidth limit type in 0 and hit apply and restart your PC.

Now your internet speed will not be restricted to the old 80%!

If you have only Home edition. Then you can manually add this through the registry editor by going to Start-->Run-->regedit. Computer\HKEY_LOCAL_MACHINE\SOFTWARE\Policies\Microsoft\Windows\Psched
You may have to create a folder separately called Psched and create a DWORD 32-bit Value NonBestEffortLimit and enter 0

Reboot PC and see if your speeds have improved. Also don't forget to try and temporarily disable Windows Update and the Microsoft Store. How To Turn Off Windows 10 Updates Permanently. - WinTips.org...

Check your ping tests too! Download speed is not everything, especially if you mean latency in online gaming. Game usually lags due to high ping (ms) rather than slow internet speed. Make sure your laptop isn't overheating! Laptops are notorious for poor cooling/ventilation and seeing you are from India that is very hot and dusty that will have an impact on CPU/GPU temperatures and that can impact the performance of your connection speeds as well since the PC will end up throttling. Make sure you clean your laptop thoroughly and add external cooling fans just as a test.

So it could be that the lag is caused due to overheating of your GPU/CPU rather than the internet speed being the culprit. All options need to be explored before arriving to a conclusion. Your other devices may have better cooling mechanism especially if you have a desktop PC as well.
