is my wireless network card going bad?

I am running windows 10 home on a Dell XPS8700 desktop computer.
I have recently been having issues with staying connected to the internet. There are days when I have no issues, but other days when I will suddenly be offline while in the middle of doing something online. I can sometimes just run the troubleshoot and get connected and other times when that does not resolve the issue. I have gone into the device manager and selected the Wireless WIFI card and selected to uninstall, then refreshed so that it is again in the device manager and that will sometimes work. Other times I have to click the icon in the lower right corner of the screen and select to connect again that way - now as of today when I do that I have to enter the password for the connection again instead of the computer just connecting automatically even though it is set up to connect automatically.
From what I have read regarding dropped connections:
If your computer’s Wi-Fi adapter is bad, you may experience frequently dropped connections. A dropped connection occurs when your computer is suddenly disconnected from the Wi-Fi. Under normal circumstances, your computer should remain connected to the Wi-Fi at all times when it’s powered up. If it disconnects you from the Wi-Fi, the adapter could be to blame.
We are still connected to the internet on the tablet or an old laptop so it is not the router or modem.
Is it possible that the card is going bad?
I am running windows 10 home Version 22H3 (build 19045.3693)

First step is to get a free wireless analyzer on MS store and see your signal strenght and if there are any stronger signals near by that often the reason some times it works and then people use the channel and block you you may need to do it a few times

I will look for that free wireless analyzer on the MS store and try that. Would this still be the case if I can connect to the network / my router and model on another computer or the tablet all in the same house?
    Thanks!

the card in my pc is Dell Wireless 1703 802.11b|g|n (2.4GHz). My computer is the closest to the location where the router and modem are located in this house. The router and modem are downstairs in the garage which is where they stuck it when the house was built. The router is the Linksys E1500 Wireless-N Router with SpeedBoost (300Mbps speed /2.4GHz band/Extended Range). I did recently get a new router to install, but have not gotten a chance to install it yet due to a lot of personal issues that have taken priority.

I ran that wireless analyzer and this is what it showed (pics) The other network (guest) is not currently connected and is not connected when I am having these issues.

That's not good signal what's between you and router often it can be some electrical device between you that can effect it microwave, game console, even a light when it drops see if anything has come on boiler TV. You would be better with the new router if it's AC lot faster you can get a USB plugin AC card for PC very cheap £10 on eBay that would make a big difference

there is nothing new between my computer and the router and modem. I had logged out for a while, and when I logged in I was fine for a short time, but all of a sudden I can not connect to any websites. I tried going into device manager to check network adapters and everything looked fine, but I tried uninstalling that network and then selecting to scan for hardware changes and then as usual it is back in device manager. But I just can not get any websites to load. The icon in the lower right corner shows that I am connected, I even tried disconnecting and then connecting to the guest account but that did not help either. No matter the website I try all I get is a page saying ERR-CONNECTION_RESET. But I can plug in the laptop and connect to the internet with no issues at all. My eyesight is not the best (about to have cataract surgery) so using this little laptop with its tiny screen is not something I can deal with for any period of time and if I enlarge the screen so I can easily read anything it is cutting off the ends of the screen on me.
It makes no sense to me that this little lenovo thinkpad can connect to the internet but I suddenly lost the connection on my Dell Desktop XPS8700. I tried restarting the computer and that has not helped either.
Do I just do a search for a USB plug in AC Card for my particular computer or will they all work and when I get one, then what do I do?

I just ran that analyzer again and this time is it showing channel 11 and the peak is at -70 dbm

Just went back to my desktop and it is connecting to webpages again. Not sure what the heck is going on with this computer and starting to think that maybe I should just look for a new computer, but it at all possible I would rather not do that at this time since finances really are not available for that kind of expense

Is that a computer or something that gets connected to my current computer to resolve my internet connection issues?
Would something like this work for now to get me connect and stay connected to the internet on that desktop computer. Amazon.com: WiFi Adapter for Desktop PC,WiFi Adapter,WiFi 5G Antenna,1300Mbps Dual 5Dbi Antennas,Support 2.4G & 5G(400Mbps/867Mbps) Network,802.11AC Compliant,USB 3.0,Support Win10/8/7/XP, Mac OS/10.9-10.15 : Electronics

I was connected to the internet on that computer and was in the middle of doing something and I lost the connection again even though I can connect using this tiny lenovo thinkpad. The icon at the bottom of the screen clearly shows that I am connected and when I click on it shows as connected and secure but I can not connect to anything on the internet. I even tried using the guest access and the same thing.

The Amazon wireless would make a big difference. When you can't connect what is the error?
    Open a CMD prompt type
    Ipconfig /all
    Tracert 194.119.131.66
    Tracert adobe.com
