Network Adapters gone missing
Hardware: HP Envy notebook
OS: Windows 10 Home version 10.0.19045 build 19045
Thanks for reading.
My notebook has started playing up recently, showing "no wifi connections available" and offering only Network and Internet Settings where before it used to show a list of available networks. I've dug out my old notebook which is accessing the internet perfectly well.
Troubleshooter reports only that the bluetooth network adapter is disabled.
Network Connections shows only the bluetooth adapter, nothing else.
Sometimes a power-down and power-up fixes the problem, but not this time.
In Device Manager, Network adapters shows:
Bluetooth Device (Personal Area Network)
WAN Miniport (IKEv2)
WAN Miniport (IP)
WAN Miniport (IPv6)
WAN Miniport (L2TP)
WAN Miniport (Network Monitor)
WAN Miniport (PPPOE)
WAN Miniport (PPTP)
WAN Miniport (SSTP)
Any guidance would be greatly appreciated.
