Seeking advice: OneDrive - Google Photos - Gdrive - file explorer, etc
Up front... I am just starting to 'check out' the possibilities, if at all there are. Just seeking advice as to how other are handling this.
It is about smartphone, Google Photos, OneDrive, file explorer, folder structures and so so.
This is the -current- situation. All images, photos, screenshots, private, non-private, whatever, they all show up on the smartphone under Google Photos in a kind of 'pool', mixed, sorted by date only.
I believe there is no such thing as a kind of Explorer like tool, enabling images to be stored in catagories (=folders) more or less what would be possible in Windows, with folders, sub folders, sub sub folders.
On PC Google Photos can only be managed using a browser, really uncomfortable compared to moving around files on a Windows system.
All in all it is a bit of mess.
Google Photos sync with Windows: only way is to downloading/take out files to a .zip file
Anyway, I am seeking a way to:
- organize Google Photos OR OneDrive (if that is easier) on 1 place
- allowing me to sort images per catagory
- that both from me and my wife
- using some sort of file explorer
- I, myself, have Google Drive and OneDrive available (linked to my account)
- Of course I have the log in credentials of my wife
Maybe I should check out ways to manage 'multiclouds', or maybe focus on OneDrive only(?)
OTOH photos shot on the smartphone automatically land in Google Photos.
Just now searching on Internet and stumbled over a tool named 'Air Explorer' - multicloud management software.
I don't know....
Thanks.
